LPIA Pademangan

Aturan 1: Pakailah between untuk dua objek baik itu orang, kelompok, atau benda. Contoh:

•  You must pick between spidol and pen.
•  Keep this mystery just between you and me.
•  You need to recognize what happen between my guardians and yours.

Aturan 2: Pakailah between untuk lebih dari dua objek dengan penyebutan yang lebih khusus. Contoh:

•  The arrangement between my supervisor, land holder, and government did not run well.
•  The coordinated effort between guitarist, dance expert, and artist can be the most enthusiasm thing today.
•  The contrasts between Spanish, English, and Swedish are not huge.

Aturan 3: Pakailah between untuk menyatakan kelompok yang tidak terpisah secara spesifik. Contoh:

•  You will discover the joy among these challenges.
•  Nothing can be picked among those ways. There is no refinement among the fans.
•  The cakes were shared among the staff in this office.

Aturan 4: Between dan Among bisa dipakai sesuai konteks. Simak contoh berikut:

•  She was spending my night between the trees. (trees yang dia maksud berjumlah dua.)
•  She was spending my night among the trees. (trees yang dia maksud berjumlah lebih dari dua; dia (perempuan) juga bisa berada di hutan dengan puluhan atau ratusan trees atau pohon.)
